We got an early release of the first ever kit by Kotare, the 1/32 Spitfire MK.Ia Mid Production, and with it we designed some of our first Hawaiian Air Depot mask designs:
We put this plastic through the wringer but miraculously it is complete and in pretty good, buildable condition. Technically, it’s slightly started: late one night we drilled out all the lightening holes in the cockpit, imagining we would build an IPMS Nats Best Aircraft. We’d had a few rounds and were pretty tired.
Otherwise it is not started: the assembled parts in the illustration are just taped or snapped in place. As you can see, many of the parts are removed from the trees and covered in our test-fit masks, but all is undoable at this great price. It’s missing the original box but does include the instruction book and a pristine decal sheet.
