With the rerelease of the spectacular Airfix F6F-5 Hellcat, we thought it ‘s about time to offer mask designs for all the cool geometric ID markings from early 1945. Each Geometric Addendum provides the ID markings for the vertical tail and upper wings, as well as number markings for several of the aircraft in the group.
First up is CV-2 Hornet, one of our personal favorites, since today it is a museum in our adopted home in the East Bay. Our first design features masks for plane numbers 35, 65 and 22 from VF-17.
This Download includes 2 8×12, svg files for Cricut, dxf copies for Silhouette, and a pdf placement guide.Our Essential Mask set provides everything else: mask designs for the insignia, prop tips, canopy (inside and out), clear parts, and wheels. Use kit or aftermarket decals for the stencils and victory markings.
