1/32 Hawk 81A-2 AVG 3rd Squadron Masks: Charles Older
Painting shark’s teeth is fun, so why not paint the most famous shark’s teeth of all? This download lets you cut your own masks for Charles Older’s iconic 68 from the AVG 3rd Squadron.
68 is well documented in some great color photographs you can use as a guide. Some interpret the open mouth as black or gray, others as the underlying camouflage showing through. Or masks allow you to paint yours however you prefer.
The download also includes designs for the wing insignia, fuselage stripe, number 68, prop tips, and wheels. Use kit or aftermarket decals for the Flying Tiger (super accurate: the real thing was a decal, too), squadron logo, victory markings, pilot’s name, and stencils.
Download includes two 7 X 9.5 inch (177.8 x 241.3 mm) .svg files, .dxf copies for Silhouette, and a PDF placement guide.
