1/48 F4U-1A/2 Corsair Comprehensive Mask set for the Magic Factory kit

$3.99

This set of files give you masks to replace many of the Magic Factory decals and additional markings for Kepford’s earlier 29, another F4U-2 night fighter, 2 Black Sheep Corsairs that Boyington likely flew, and Marion Carl’s 833. Because we think Marion Carl was the baddest of all the Corsair badasses, with Walsh and Boyington right behind. (We’ll do Walsh when Magic Factory gets around to the F4U-1 and the early -4)

The download includes 3, 7 x 9.5 inch files that provide three different styles of Corsair insignia: borderless with bars, red (or overpainted blue)-outlined stars and bars, and the standard, late war blue-bordered stars and bars. Also featured are masks for the two different fuselage insignia position seen on F4U-1s, -1As, and -2s. Paint up any Corsair you want.

In addition to all your insignia and marking options, the set includes designs to mask the ID and position lights, the landing light, the prop tips, the wing walk step panels, the walkway stripes, all the fuel caps, and the fuselage seam tape. Use kit or aftermarket decals for your stencils, kill flags, and nose art, and these masks will do the rest. To review: 2 Kepford Corsairs, 2 night fighters, 2 Boyingtons, 480 from the kit markings, and Marion Carl. All for 4 bucks.
