This download includes masks to cover all the insignia variations on USAAF P-40Ns. Our research concludes both 30 and 35 inch stars were used in all four positions, with several apparent variations.
It’s tricky to figure out any uniformity to the size arrangements, so we just threw the kitchen sink at this design: it includes masks for each position in both sizes: borderless stars, stars with field-applied borders, starts and bars with red-borders, and blue-bordered stars and bars. You’re covered for whatever variations your research and modeling prefers.
The set also includes mask designs for both sizes of wheels, prop tips, fuel tank caps, wing walks, and all the clear parts Eduard doesn’t cover on their own masking sheets including lenses and reflectors for all three gunsights.
