This set includes 4 12 x 8” (304.8 x 203.2 mm) files for cutting your own Spitfire Mk. IX invasion stripe masks. Designed to fit the Airfix kit, the download includes 4 SVG files, 4 DXF copies, a PDF copy of the paper masks, and a PDF of instructions. The stripes are fit to the official measurements and positions, though there was much variation. To that end, we’re including two sets of fuselage stripes: one fit to the official guidelines, starting in front of the the Sky theater band, and a second set with broader white stripes on the outsides, which appear in several period photographs. The masks also include fuselage roundels to be painted with the strips, or you can use kit decals. An excellent companion to our Essential Mask set and Camouflage masks!
