1/32 Spitfire Mk.II Essential Mask Set for the Revell Kit

$4.99

The Revell Spitfire Mk. II is certainly eclipsed by the Tamiya Mk.VIII/IX and the new Kotare Mk. Is, but come on: it’s pretty good! And when released it was crazy inexpensive. We’ll admit we have a few in our stashes.

We designed this one when we first started Hawaiian Air Depot but it got set aside in a wake of new releases. Still, the kit deserves some good masks, so let’s get this out now.

This set of downloads includes 4, 7 X 9.5 inch (177.8 x 241.3 mm) mask designs covering the canopy (inside and out) as well as masks for protecting it while you paint around it. Also included are designs for the ID and position lights, prop tips, gunsight, wheels, radiator screens, wing walk stripes, wing roundels, two styles of fuselage insignia, two types of fin flash, and the fuselage band. Masks for the undersides of the stabilizers allow you to paint the camouflage around them. As a bonus, masks for the radiator and oil cooler attachment points are included so you can attach them after painting. And yeah, when we build it we’re using the Barracuda correction set, so we’re including masks that fit Roy’s radiator as well.

Use your decals for the individual markings and paint the rest. And if you do an Iron Maiden Spitfire, send us pics!
